Reverse French Manicure

This is a great nail art look to go with colour-blocking styles and is really easy to do. It’s a really easy look to create but people often think its complicated! You can use any two colours for this. I used Barry M Mint Green and Scarlett & Crimson in Pink.

Nail varnish

Firstly I painted my nails with Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener to create a base and to protect my nails from staining. The only rule with this design is to use opaque colours so you can create a strong contrast and there’s no translucency!
Next, paint your nails with the colour you want your half circle to be. In my case it was the Barry M Mint Green. Once this layer is dry, take your second colour and paint so you leave a small semi-circle at the base of your nail.
If you struggle to do this you can use paper hole protectors to cover the base of your nail and leave that semi-circle shape of your first colour!
Once you’ve painted that, paint the rest of your nail as normal. Finish with a top coat (I used the Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener) to prevent chipping so your nails will stay fabulous!
